Will We Ever Face Another Terrorist Attack

The Romans may have thought the same thing, but I'm not trying to say that the U.S. CAN'T be destroyed (in terms of power) because ANYONE can -- what I'm saying is that these terrorists won't be the ones to do it. They may cause pain and suffering, but to destroy our nation entirely? No.. I don't see us ever letting that happen.

I remembered reading on cnn.com soon after 911 that the FBI, CIA, etc... avert 99.9% of all attempts on terrorism every year. Some of those attempts are pretty huge (maybe even on the scale of 9/11). It's all a matter of intelligence breaking down because frankly terrorists hate us and will continue taking their shots.

Of course that attempt could have been propoganda to make us all feel warm and fuzzy inside, but who really knows?

I certainly hope nothing like 9-11 comes to pass ever again. We can always hope.

One reason i ask this was to see how people viewed the changes and to get reaction.
Right now it is believed that our nation is scrambling so hard to stop an attack, that one could be carried out at any time.
The main threat of the terrorist group is to create paranoia to a point to where countries over do everything.
This basically opens the door for the mistakes the terrorist await.
What now is believed is that Bin Laden and his cohorts will lay low and once again strike a blow to not only the US, but several nations at one time.
This will be an action to devastate the main backing of US and other foreign countries, who have come out against what Bin Laden and others stand for.
Using a scripture from the King James Version of the Bible.
Bin Laden described America and other countries as easy tragets in saying. Wait till they say peace, peace, then shall their sudden destruction come.
